King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh (2018)

The completely new international traveling exhibit, King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh, features over 60 artifacts never displayed outside Egypt and has been designed to tour 10 cities on 5 continents, bringing the story of King Tut to life as never before. The ever-fascinating story of the boy-king, a journey though the afterlife in Egyptian belief, and the high drama of the discovery and excavation of Tutankhamun’s tomb create an experience that floods the senses and engages the intellect while probing the deepest mystery of human existence.
For this 17,500 sq. ft. installation, DLP created an immersive 180-degree introductory theater experience, zoned soundscapes, environmental media, and a series of mini-features revealing the process of discovery.
